A commission from a family friend, this piece was an inspirational piece to remind him to always push himself to be the best he can be. It represents determination, perseverance and strength.

I created and shared some initial sketches and the result is a combination of ideas from these. Aware he wanted to be able to frame the painting, I used acrylic on primed greyboard to create an abstract, striking piece that took around a day and a half to complete.
