Moon Cry

After seeing my work in a local bookshop, I was contacted by a lady who had a real passion for wolves. She loved my Tiger and Panda paintings and asked if I could paint a howling wolf which she could put up pride of place in her home.

After sending her initial sketches, she fell in love with the mystic touch of the huge moon and stars and so introduced these into the piece too.

The commission was a great project to work on, I’m a lover of wolves myself and really enjoyed seeing this subject come to live. The painting was created using acrylic on canvas and took a little over 2 days to paint.
