Portrait of Cora

I got a Wacom graphics tablet for my birthday this year, yay! It’s something I’ve wanted for a while now and here my new gadget makes its first debut.

I’ve not attempted portraits before because I find there’s no room for error. At least with an animal or landscape, you can make it your own as they all look different. There is more freedom to interpret it as you like, but with a portrait you have to get the likeness just right.

This piece is a portrait of my cheeky little niece Cora who is 21 months old.
