The Fox

Since getting an Ipad Pro and pencil, I’ve been trying to find a suitable app or program that would allow me to develop my digital art skills. Finding an interface that was not only user-friendly and enjoyable to use, but offered the right features seemed a never-ending search. Then I came across Procreate! Easy to use, flexible and my favourite tool so far.

I wanted to see how the app would handle fine detail and what better test than animal fur. Although usually a slow process, adding layers upon layers of colour, building texture and depth was both satisfying and soothing!

The Fox is the first in a series of New Forest animals that I’m currently working on, so watch this space!
